Née en 1975 dans le nord de la Hollande, j’ai suivi la formation de photographe professionnelle « Fotonica » à Ede.
C’est durant mon volontariat en Israël et au Pérou que j’ai ressenti un profond intérêt pour le rapport qui existe entre la population et ses divers lieux de vie. J’étais très attirée par la photographie car elle pouvait révéler l’influence que peuvent avoir sur les hommes, l’Histoire, l’environnement et la culture.
Après avoir assisté à quelques festivals internationaux de photographie ma passion pour le photojournalisme et le documentaire est née. Cette envie de montrer des histoires inconnues est à l’origine de ma démarche.
Vivant en Normandie, mon intérêt se porte aujourd’hui essentiellement sur la photographie documentaire et le reportage.

Born in Holland in 1975, I grew up in the north of the country and studied photography during my ‘Fotonica’ course in Ede.
My interest in documentary photography and the relationships people forge with their surroundings first emerged during my time volunteering in Israel and Peru. I was fascinated by the way photography could be used to illustrate how people are influenced by their history, their surroundings, their culture and their environment.
But it was only really a few years ago after attending a number of international photography events that it became a genuine passion. This enthusiasm for telling stories through the people that I meet and events that I witness have marked a major turning point in my career.
Today, I live and work in Normandy as a freelance events and a storytelling photographer, taking pictures for corporate or documentary purposes.
